There doesn't have to be a specific message. It's more along the lines
of "Microsoft isn't as bad as you think they are".

MSFT has a big re-education they have to do first, to win the hearts
    and minds.

a few words come to mind.. dull, boring, pointless, complete waste, why? after watching it, the first thing i searched for on the internet was "stupid microsoft commercial". However, one must also say that Mac is really hard to attack unless you show people playing RPGs, FPS, ect on a pc/xbox .. then switch to a mac and show a feature or flash game... back to pc.. back to mac.. then end it with a Microsoft logo.

This ad is a virtual cry for help. It's a failure even if your claim that it's meant to humanize Billysoft is true.

Yes, it might not remind viewers of the computer viruses and sleazy business practices Microsoft is known for, but it DOES remind us that Bill Gates is a clueless idiot, arguably bordering on lunacy.

Who would want to buy a software program made by suh a monumental dork?

Who would want to buy a software program? You don't get it, you HAVE
to buy a Microsoft product. It's essentially a commodity, the goal is
just to make you not hate the company as much.
